HOUSE KOCKA (the story)

The tradition of letting rooms in our house dates back to the period following World War I, and it is interesting that at that time our house hosted also the local ‘gendarmerie’. In 2000, we completed the renovation but preserved the original image of the old house.

House Kocka was derived from our family name Kocjan. We have always been great lovers of culture and our guests are thrilled, when we occasionally make toasts and sing popular Slovenian folk songs. We take pride in offering our guests hospitality, kindness and positive energy, so our guests love to return to our house. We can boast of many internationally known artists who stayed in our house, for we organized a Jezersko music festival for ten years in a row as well as many music summer schools with guest artists from all over the world.

More about the house and a photo gallery.
